About the Quad Cities Newspaper Index

This website is a cooperative project of several public libraries in and near the Quad Cities area of western Illinois and Eastern Iowa. The index does not include the full text of articles, but photocopies of individual articles may be requested from the libraries.

The library will perform research for patrons who request it, dependent on staff time and resources. We charge $5.00 for the first half hour of research and $10.00 for each additional hour. We can either email the requested information or make copies and mail them. Estimated turnaround time is 10 business days.
